Trans-Seasonal Style

With spring/summer pieces on the way in and winter fashion on the way out it can be hard to decide what to wear in the interim. Do you snap up a few last pieces on sale and only wear them for a few weeks? Or do you buy new spring goodies and risk freezing until the weather warms up? The answer is both! Trans-seasonal style is easy but the trick is to keep it simple.

Neutral colours

Black, white, navy and denim will be your best friend in between seasons. Pops of colour here and there are OK, but try to avoid wearing block colours until spring is in full bloom.

Denim jacket

Every girl needs a killer denim jacket in her wardrobe. I’m obsessed with light denim this year – it looks amazing on everyone. Drape it over your shoulders or pair it with a cute spring dress. The denim jacket will be the style hero of your outfit while providing extra warmth.

Ankle boots

I don’t know about you but I’m not a fan of cold feet! August is famously known for teasing glimpses of sun while howling the last of the winter wind. Prepare for both by showing some leg in a dress or skirt but wear ankle boots to keep your toes nice and toasty. Boots also add edge to any outfit.
