02 Jun Three Ways to Style Wool this Winter
With the coldest season of the year finally here it’s time to stock up on your winter woollies and get your winter look on lock. In years past, I would’ve been the first person to put my hand up and say that winter was my least favourite season – bulky sweaters and countless layers feeling freezing and frumpy, it has never been enjoyable. This year is different as after trial and error I have discovered the key to surviving winter is with three wool essentials.
The best investment you can make in your winter wardrobe is a wool coat – the quality, craftsmanship and longevity in a wool garment is something to cherish and will be a piece to see you through many seasons. A classic black coat is essential but a coat in a bright colour is also a great addition to brighten up the cooler months.
We all live busy lifestyles going from one event to the next, moving from indoors to outdoors so it’s important that what we’re wearing can adapt to our environment. A wool scarf is the perfect solution as it is one piece that can be styled many ways and is the easiest thing to remove. Choose a scarf in a neutral colour so that you can style it with several outfits.
The ultimate creature comfort during winter is a wool cardigan. Perfectly cosy and easy to throw on over your favourite jeans and tee for brunch or just nice to lounge around in at home.
